US Congressman John Sullivan is scheduled to be the keynote address on the November 15th Energy Policy Conference luncheon. The Congressman will also be receiving an award from the Energy Advocates for his work with the American energy industry.

Tulsa, OK – September 22, 2010 – United States Congressman John Sullivan will be the keynote speaker at the International Energy Policy Conference luncheon that will be held at the Tulsa, OK Petroleum Club on November 15, 2010. The Congressman is in his second term as a member of the US House Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Climate Change. Congressman Sullivan also is continuing his service on the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, the oldest legislative standing committee in the U.S. House of Representatives. This committee is responsible for legislative oversight relating to telecommunications, consumer protection, food and drug safety, public health, air quality and environmental health, the supply and delivery of energy, and interstate and foreign commerce.

The Energy Advocates, key sponsor of the 2010 Energy Policy Conference, is also to award the Congressman with the annual Energy Advocate of the Year Award. The Congressman was chosen for this award for his work on both committees and his work towards assisting the US energy industry.
